College of Education and Health Professions Promotes Deans, Department Heads

The College of Schooling and Well being Professions‘ dean prolonged five-year appointments to three interim associate deans and two department heads, powerful March 1.

Paul Calleja was named affiliate dean for administration and manages the college’s human sources, financial affairs, amenities and know-how products and services. Calleja assumed the interim associate dean job following it was vacated by Lewatis McNeal. Calleja joined the higher education in 2003 as the education and learning outreach director for the Microelectronics Photonics Department. He previously served as the assistant head of the Department of Overall health, Human Functionality and Recreation. Calleja is a teaching professor of bodily instruction and serves as the president of the Training Academy.

Matthew Ganio, who joined the college’s college in 2011, was named affiliate dean of tutorial and student affairs. His function contains facilitating alterations and additions to diploma options, accreditation and assessments. He also supervises the Boyer Middle for Scholar Solutions and the Business office for Instructor Instruction. Ganio assists departments and faculty in analysis, promotion and tenure insurance policies. Ganio, a professor of workout science, earlier served as head of the Section of Wellbeing, Human Functionality and Recreation.

Michelle Grey was promoted to head of the Section of Wellness, Human Overall performance and Recreation.
