$1.6M to train Native Hawaiian SPED teachers

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The U.S. Section of Education’s Augustus F. Hawkins Facilities of Excellence Method has awarded the College of Hawai’i at Manoa’s Faculty of Education with a $1.6 million grant to assistance Hawai’i prepare bilingual/multilingual teachers of colour.
