On Dec. 15—18, about 1,800 College of Iowa pupils will obtain their levels throughout in-particular person and livestreamed graduation ceremonies, commencing with the College of Education’s undergraduate and Instructor Instruction Application recognition on Dec. 15 and concluding with the College or university of Engineering undergraduate ceremony on Dec. 18.

University of Instruction
Undergraduate Graduation and Teacher Schooling Program Recognition Ceremony

Ceremony for bachelor of arts graduates majoring in elementary education, art education, English education, mathematics Education, music education, science education, social studies education, or planet language schooling, or in Educational Research and Human Relations (ESHR), the Faculty of Education’s non-licensure main. Graduates will also be identified for Teacher Instruction Method completion and suggestion for state licensure.
Dean Dan Clay will give the welcome, and Clay and UI President Barbara Wilson will confer degrees.
Mary Mascher (BA ’75, MA ’82), point out consultant in the Iowa Dwelling of Representatives, 1995—2023, will be the keynote speaker. Mitchell Kelly, medical professor of educational psychology and director of the Business office of Graduate Training Excellence, will be the school speaker. Makayla Smith, of Davenport, Iowa, who is completing the elementary education plan, will be the college student speaker. Smith will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Education.
