Education faces many challenges, but personalized learning offers promise of better learning for all students

If you only read the headlines about schooling in the U.S., you would assume our condition is hopeless. You would come upon alarming phrases: trainer shortages, pandemic studying decline and historic declines in math and looking at scores.

You would also know that, all through the pandemic, our lecture rooms altered considerably (some argue permanently). Beneath-resourced college students and those in rural parts with out net entry could not consistently go to lessons, either in human being or nearly. Numerous universities struggled to retain personnel. The Countrywide Assessment of Instructional Development claimed steep drops in exam scores, primarily in arithmetic. Black and Hispanic college students and college students residing in poverty, whose scores, on ordinary, had been decreased even ahead of the pandemic, ended up disproportionately negatively impacted.
