LITTLESTOWN, Pa. — The Littlestown Location College District in Adams County is proposing a new math curriculum for its youngest students termed Expose Math.
Some mothers and fathers are contacting it problematic.
“Reveal Math basically teaches social justice ideas, it is not math concepts,” claimed Janell Ressler, who has a few elementary college students in the district. “We’re already failing our little ones in math.”
On its website, publishing business McGraw Hill says the method “champions a optimistic classroom environment” and “explores arithmetic by way of a flexible lesson style.”
