Akron Public Schools will hold online classes if teachers strike

Akron Community educational institutions is poised to present on the web instruction for pupils to learn at their houses if Akron lecturers strike in January.

Instructors and other certified specialists who are members of the Akron Schooling Affiliation union have threatened to strike at 12:01 a.m. Jan. 9. 

Courses are established to resume Jan. 6 soon after the wintertime break, so it is attainable learners will return to faculty Friday, only to have lecturers strike the following Monday. 

The Akron college board authorised resolutions at a unique conference Thursday night time in response to the Akron instructors union before in the working day issuing a 10-working day notice of its intent to strike.
